Richard “Dick” R. Schneider, 61, Green Bay, died Thursday,
August 17, 2006, at a local hospital. He was born September 18, 1944, to the
late Francis and Dorothy (Schneider) Schneider in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. Dick
served his country in the U. S. Army from 1966 to 1968. On October 4, 1969, he
married Mary Jean Hubert at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Green Bay. Dick was a
member of the Green Bay Police Department for 10 years followed by many years
of accident-free truck driving until his retirement.
He was a Jack-of-all trades, always willing to help anyone in need. He enjoyed
hunting, fishing, and NASCAR.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; his two children, Christine Spica and Anthony and his special friend, Jeana Schuessler; one granddaughter, Mackenzie Schneider; and one sister and two brothers, Joanne (Roger) Johnson, Fred (Debbie) Schneider and Tom Schneider.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Gerald Spica.
Friends may call after 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 21, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1224 ? 12th Avenue, where the Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Peter Renard, O.Praem officiating.
